Work Records

Founded in Amsterdam in 1993 by Rhythm Import boss Peter Duijkersloot with DJs and producers Olav Basoski and Erick E, Work Records became one of the Netherlands' most influential independent house labels.

It made an immediate impact with its first release, Pancake's "Don't Turn Your Back", a project by Basoski and Erick E themselves, and built a catalogue around Sil's "Windows" and "Villa Ducato" and Basoski's "Opium Scumbagz". At the heart of it sits the Samplitude series, well over 50 tracks that became essential tools for house DJs worldwide.

After a break the label is back with Basoski at the helm. The work continues.
